Most organizations plan for hiring. Many plan for performance.
Very few plan for what happens when their most experienced leaders retire.
Retirement has quietly become one of the most underestimated risks in talent and culture strategy. It’s a people transition that impacts continuity, culture, and succession.
When experienced leaders exit, organizations lose far more than headcount - they lose institutional knowledge, mentoring capacity for the leadership pipeline, cultural continuity, and the engagement ripple effects across generations. Yet most companies still treat retirement as paperwork, not a strategic transition.
Join PSC for an interactive, in-person session with practical frameworks and facilitated exercises led by Andrea “Andi” Simon, PhD (corporate anthropologist; Founder/CEO, SAMC).
The event will begin with networking at 5:30pm, and the session with Andi will start at 6:00pm.
